NYC-Based Costume Designer

Isabella is a New York City-based Costume Designer.  Raised in San Diego, she started in costumes while training pre-professionally in classical ballet at California Ballet Company, where she was the Costume and Wardrobe Intern on their production of The Great Gatsby (2015).  

Since arriving in New York, Isabella has worked in both Theatre and Television.  Her most recent design credits include Ensemble Studio Theatre’s 38th Marathon of One-Act Plays (2022).  As an Assistant Costume Designer she has worked on POTUS on Broadway (2022), and Cambodian Rockband at the Signature Theatre (2020).  She has also worked on Touring Shows including the Tootsie 2nd National Tour (2022), as the Costume Coordinator, as well as Cruise Lines Shows as a Swatcher.

In Television, Isabella has worked as a Costumes PA on several shows, including the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That (2021), as well as Harlem (2021) and Fleishman is in Trouble (2022). As a Costumes PA she also been on the team of Madonna’s Celebration World Tour (2023).

In 2020, Isabella received a BFA from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, where she studied in the Drama Department’s Production & Design Studio, focusing in Costume Design, as well as Wig & Hair Design.  She also received training in costume construction, special effects makeup, and wardrobe.  In 2019, she studied abroad in Paris.

While at NYU, Isabella interned for Costume Designer, Linda Cho (2018-2020), working on over 15 of her Broadway, Off-Broadway, Regional, and Touring Productions.  She was also the Costume Department Intern at La Jolla Playhouse for two summers (2017 & 2018).

In 2023, Isabella became a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829.
